The Monterra Community Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created by Monterra Credit Union to advance financial wellness and strengthen the well-being of individuals, families, and local businesses in our community. Our mission focuses on providing resources that foster stability, opportunity, and resilience right here at home.

Our Areas of Impact

Through donations and community partnerships, the Monterra Community Fund supports:

• Food access and basic-needs support for families across San Mateo and Santa Clara counties

• Emergency assistance for students experiencing financial hardship

• Financial wellness and literacy programs to help community members build stronger financial futures

• Support for local small businesses facing economic challenges, helping them avoid layoffs and stay open

• Childcare provider stability, especially in low-income areas, ensuring working families have access to quality care

• Community emergency relief, mobilizing resources when unexpected crises occur
